| Artist Remarks: | This painting was completed over two summers at Welwyn Preserve, Glen Cove, NY. When I returned to the site the second year to finish the foreground, I found the breakwater cleared and replaced with a high concrete seawall. The painting was actually completed from a small maquette I constructed from a broken plaster slab to recreate the foreground rubble. |
